    FAQ

    Does GClimb keep my conversations?

    No. GClimb only receives tool calls, never your conversation. We keep a usage log only: the tool called, its parameters, the time, the result, the number of rows returned, the key or app used, its client name and the IP address of the request, to count credits and keep your account safe.

    What does my assistant see?

    What your GClimb account sees, nothing else: the Explorer, your followed competitors, your followed niches and your audits. It never sees another account’s data.

    Can my assistant change anything?

    No. Every tool is read-only. Your assistant follows no store, starts no audit and changes no setting.

    How is it different from the Chrome extension?

    The extension shows GClimb data while you visit a store. The MCP gives that data to your assistant, which can combine several stores, niches and periods in one answer.

    Which assistants work?

    Claude (web and desktop app), ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code, with detailed steps for each. Another MCP client that connects over HTTP from an app or a server, with OAuth or an access key, can connect too.

    How is access secured?

    Claude and ChatGPT sign in with your GClimb account (OAuth): no password is shared. Cursor and Claude Code use an access key valid for 90 days. Revoke a key or disconnect an app from the MCP GClimb page of your dashboard: access stops at the next request.

    What happens when my credits run out?

    Paid tools answer that the balance is used up until the 1st of next month. Store lookup, the niche list and your quotas stay available.
